In this black comedy we meet Melvin, a very old man living in a hospice. He knows he is going to die and wants to be in command of his fate, so he steals medication from others in the hospice as well as saving his own, so he may overdose when he wants to die! Betty, an elderly woman who is in denial of being in a hospice, finds that Melvin is a vulgar, horrible man, and that she had known him some fifty years ago.
