Windermere Preparatory School presents “The Lesson” by the father of absurdist theatre, Eugene Ionesco. The Professor and his student are challenged by the futility of language until all communication breaks down and they are forced into repetitive and meaningless actions. This bizarre, dark comedy uses puppet-like characters, senseless non-sequiturs and a cyclical scenario to depict the dehumanized world of WWII.
